My Mama's Peanut Butter Balls

If you love peanut butter and chocolate you will love these.

My whole family has always been fans of peanut butter and chocolate so these were always a huge hit when we were little. My mom would make them for all of our teachers around the holidays and all of our relatives. THEY ARE DELICIOUS! So naturally, I started making them as well.

Ingredients

1 lb Butter
6 cup Powdered Sugar
1 Jar (40oz) Peanut Butter (I use crunchy but if you prefer smooth that works too)
2 cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

1. Soften butter.
2. In a large bowl mix together peanut butter, powdered sugar, and butter.
3. Roll into little balls (about an inch-inch and a half or whatever size you prefer), place on cookie tray, and refrigerate. If you live in the midwest, like us, you can put them in the garage to refrigerate instead 😂
4. Fill small pot (that a bowl of chocolate chips will stay on top of) with water up to bottom of glass bowl. Place bowl full of chocolate chips in the pot, but not fully submerged into the water. So you need a pot that is small enough to hold the bowl up. Turn on stove to melt the chocolate.
5. Dip peanut butter balls into the chocolate and coat with melted chocolate. Place back onto baking sheet and refrigerate.

ENJOY!
